This is how it works

We have a very simple way of delivering results for our customers. The Company Ten system is a simple and effective three-step process.

Step 1. We work out what the problem is.

Step 2. We develop a bespoke strategy combining our services to tackle the problem.

Step 3. We implement that strategy over an agreed period and solve the problem.

The Gap

We think of your school’s ‘problem’ as a gap.

This gap is the distance between where you are right now and where you want to be.

For example, you might have 500 pupils and you want 800. The gap = 300 pupils.

Or you may have a reputation in the community of being an exams factory and you’re not. The gap in this case is your reputation.

The Bridge

The solution to the gap is the bridge. We need to build a bridge, from where you are, to where you want to be.

Every school’s gap is different so every school’s bridge is different too. A bridge that works for one school might not work for another. It may not be big enough, it may too big, too costly, or it might even need to be built more quickly. Every school is different, so every gap is different, so every bridge is different.

Our bridges are made out of ‘blocks’.

The Blocks

The blocks are our services. These services fall into four categories; design, social media, content creation and digital marketing. These services, or blocks, range from video production to google ads, from 360° virtual tours to search engine optimisation and a lot in between. We have many blocks.

A large bridge may need many big blocks and a smaller bridge might use fewer or smaller blocks.

We bridge the gap with the blocks from our arsenal of services. No bridge is the same because no gap is the same.

This is it working

1.

School X has a reputation of being a ‘hard school’. An unwelcome place, filled with hard-nosed teachers and robotic and characterless pupils. The thing is though, it’s not. It’s a very warm and welcoming school that cares for and nurtures its pupils regardless of their academic abilities and goals in life.

2.

School X’s gap is its reputation and the difference between how it is perceived by the community and how it really is. It needs to show the community that it is not a cold conveyor belt of results. So, School X enlists the help of Company Ten - to help improve the reputation of the school. School X allocates a monthly budget of £xxxx to bridge the gap.

3.

Company Ten works with School X to design a bridge for the reputation gap. A bespoke digital marketing and advertising strategy is developed that will show off School X’s best bits through a series of ‘good news story’ videos, which in turn are presented via Facebook ads to an audience that we’ve built using social media management and a digital marketing audit.

4.

Once we have developed a strategy that combines a number of our services we begin to implement that strategy. The strategy can be a long-term ongoing one, in the case of reputation amendment or student acquisitions. Or it can be temporary one-off set of targets and goals - a web site redesign or a new set of promotional photographs for example.

This is our blog

As part of being the best at what we do, we have to keep up to date with the developments in the world of digital. You don't. So, we make sure that we write regular blogs and articles on the industry developments, as well as offering helpful tips and advice for getting more from your current digital marketing and comms.

Our industry experts’ articles will help you get the most from your social media and digital marketing. We’ll cover things like ‘how to create the perfect Instagram post’, ‘Why TikTok is taking over your school’ or ‘How to get more people to your open evening’. We’ll offer tips on things like ‘How to respond to negative reviews/comments’, ‘What to do if your Facebook account gets hacked’ and ‘Who should be in charge of your school’s website updates.’

This is our free training

Not everyone learns from reading blogs and articles, some people need to be shown how something works. So, we’ve got that covered too. We deliver free training over Zoom and Microsoft Teams, specifically designed for teachers, school staff as well as education companies and Trusts.

Our guest lecturers/trainers will cover subjects like; ‘Combatting cyber bullying’, ‘Developing a Social Media voice for your school’ and ‘School Branding 101’. This training will always be free and we will never try and ‘sell’ you anything. We offer these free training events because we genuinely believe that the better a school is at digital marketing, the better informed a child will be about your school and ultimately the better their education experience will be. The trainers are always recorded and so we have a catalogue of past training events that we can send you if you would like. Just send us a message and we’ll get them to you.
