Company Ten and United Learning

United Learning

United Learning is a Multi Academy Trust comprising over seventy schools across the United Kingdom.

As part of a series of promotional videos for United Learning, Company Ten were engaged to produce promotional videos for Accrington Academy and Accrington Academy Sixth Form, showcasing the schools’ facilities, staff and students. The creative formed the basis of a digital marketing campaign and social media strategy - utilising digital advertising including Facebook Ads and other social media channels.

As part of the ongoing digital marketing campaign promoting Accrington Academy, this video acts as a substitute ‘walk-around’ presenting the school to prospective pupils and parents that would otherwise not have been able to visit the school during the 2020-2021 Covid-19 pandemic.

How do Company Ten use video production and Facebook ads to help my school?

We believe that every school has things that they should be proud of. Not every school understands how best to show off those aspects of their school. For a student to want to come to your school, they need to be convinced. We do this by highlighting and presenting your best bits.

It’s no longer possible to rely solely on word of mouth, a sign on the front gate, or an open evening. We are all now used to on-demand tv, next day delivery and super fast broadband. We expect high quality and functionality. We’re used to information being accessible when and where we want it. Even better, we like for information to be put in front of us for exactly when we need it.

That’s why we use interruptive advertising (we’ll show your best bits to people as they’re scrolling through Facebook or flicking through Instagram). Using video adverts to grab their attention works; it will get more people talking and ultimately applying to your school.
